KEITH HUNT PARK

Public BBQ

Keith Hunt Park sprawls across Labrador like a well-intentioned municipal Swiss Army knife – attempting to be all things to all people, and largely succeeding. The barbecue facilities anchor what is essentially a recreational smorgasbord, complete with picnic tables positioned strategically near a playground that keeps the youngest visitors happily occupied while parents tend to the sausages. The park's crown jewel is its genuinely safe environment for children, featuring skateboard ramps that somehow coexist peacefully with dog walkers and weekend soccer matches. There's something rather charming about watching a determined seven-year-old navigate a scooter around a golden retriever while distant cheers drift from the soccer pitch.
